Big Brothers Big Sisters offers Site-Based Programs during the child's lunch period or in an after-school format. These programs were designed with a realistic weekly commitment to provide a volunteer opportunity for adults, college students, and high school students who have active lifestyles.
In our Site-Based Program, match's get together once a week at a school or Boys & Girls Club. (See below for site options.) For your convenience, the majority of the sites listed below have multiple days and times listed. You choose which day along with which hour (or hour and a half) you want to volunteer. During the match's time together (1-1.5 hours, depending on the site), they can do homework, play board games or just hang out. Big Brothers Big Sisters asks that all Site-Based Bigs commit to spending one academic year in their matches.
Every other month, a Match Support Specialist will call both the Big and Little to check in and see how the match is going. However, the Match Support Specialist is always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and offer new ideas to the Big, Little or parent at any time.
Thank you for everything that you have done for our Pioneer students and the community students. Big Brothers and Big Sisters makes such a positive impact on the lives of children and adults… thanks for all you do!

This year, Eisenhower had 11 Bigs for our on-site program. This could not happen with out the support of everyone. Coordinating the On-site program is most gratifying; I am privileged to be involved.
